Top 7 Metrics Every Landlord Should Track Weekly

Dashboards are only useful if you know what to watch. These seven numbers give you an early warning before small issues become expensive problems:

  1. Occupancy rate

  2. On-time rent percentage

  3. Average days-to-lease for vacant units

  4. Maintenance tickets opened vs. closed

  5. Net operating income (NOI) this week vs. last

  6. Delinquency balance by tenant

  7. Cash reserve ratio (cash ÷ monthly expenses)
